Who Am I?

Hello, my name is Mrs. Wolf. I will be teaching you 6th grade social studies this year. Many of you might be wondering, who is this Mrs. Wolf? Well here is a little bit about me...

I grew up in Islip, New York on Long Island. I lived there my whole life until I moved to North Carolina in 2011. This will be my third year in this state as well as at this school. Growing up I was a very active child, both in sports and in school. Over the course of a life time I was a swimmer, a gymnast, a softball player and a runner. In school I was (and still am) an avid reader, reading anything I could get my hands on. My favorite subjects were always social studies and language arts, and at times science (sorry math fans). I love watching all sports, but my absolute favorite is baseball, and of course the New York Yankees are my favorite team. Prior to working at James Martin, I had taught in New York as well as working at Robert Moses State Park during the summer time.

I went to college at the State University of New York College of Oneonta (SUNY Oneonta for short) where I completed my Bachelors of Science in 3 1/2 years. I graduated with a 3.6. gap and received honors. I studied Adolescent Education with a concentration in Social Studies.

Today I own three dogs, a rat terrier named Lucille, a shih tzu named Buster, and a husky/lab mix named bean. On July 27th, 2013, I got married (which is why many of you are confused by my name change) and went from being Miss Ferrara to Mrs. Wolf.
